Change is rarely neat, predictable, or linear. While many models present change as a sequence of steps, the reality is that individuals, teams, and organisations experience change in different ways, at different speeds, and often encounter unexpected challenges along the journey.
YourCITI Navigating Change is a practical, self-paced learning experience designed to help participants understand, navigate, and positively influence change in today’s dynamic environment. Rather than presenting change as a fixed process to be followed from beginning to end, this course explores the interconnected factors that shape successful change outcomes, recognising that progress is often iterative, adaptive, and influenced by people, culture, leadership, communication, and organisational context. The non-linear version of this learning is available at YourCITI Navigating Change space.
Through a series of engaging modules, learners will develop a deeper appreciation of why change succeeds or fails, how people respond to uncertainty and disruption, and what can be done to create the conditions for sustainable adoption and lasting benefits. Participants will examine change from multiple perspectives, building the awareness, confidence, and practical techniques needed to support change initiatives regardless of their role within an organisation.
The course combines contemporary change management thinking with real-world examples, reflective exercises, and practical tools that can be applied immediately in the workplace. Learners will gain insights into stakeholder engagement, communication, leadership, resistance, culture, capability development, and the importance of maintaining momentum throughout periods of transition.
By the end of the programme, participants will be better equipped to work effectively in changing environments, support colleagues through uncertainty, and contribute positively to organisational transformation efforts, recognising that successful change is not about following a straight path but about understanding and responding to the complex and evolving realities that organisations face.
